Donuts with Dad

Be sure to stop by on Saturday, June 17th from 10 am - 3 pm for Donuts with Dad. People of all ages are invited to bring their dad (or grandpa, uncle or other special person) for a snack and Father's Day related activities. This is a come and go event, so feel free to stay as long or as little as you like.

Armstrong Air & Space Museum

On June 14th at 1:00 pm, join library staff and the Armstrong Air & Space Museum upstairs in the Village Chambers for a presentation called "Heavy Lift Rocket Activity." This STEM activity is geared for those ages 4-12 years of age. Students will work in groups to create a balloon powered rocket. The objective is to lift any number of paper clips from the floor to the ceiling, using only the materials given.

Cook the Book LIVE--Registration Required

It's time for our yearly Cook the Book LIVE! Join us on Wednesday, June 14th at 6:00 pm for all the fun.  We will be reviewing Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney. It's a suspenseful thriller set in Scotland.  We then will be making Hielan' (Highland) Cow Cupcakes from the amazing cookbook, "Hebridean Baker," by Coinneach Macleod.  This cookbook contains recipes and wee stories from the Scottish Islands.  We will have undecorated cupcakes and all of the supplies for audience members to decorate their own cupcake to look like a Highland Cow!

Summer Reading Program

The theme for this year's Summer Reading Program is "All Together Now." It will focus on kindness and unity. The program will run June 1 through July 31. There are so many activities and prizes! Be sure to check our event calendar for all of the details. Also, follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all the happenings. All ages are invited to participate in the program.
