2024 Solar Eclipse

It's time to get ready for the solar eclipse that will happen on April 8, 2024. Although our library will be closed on that day, the week prior to the eclipse, April 1- 6, we will be having special activities each day during Moon Week. A limited number of eclipse glasses will be distributed to attendees at these library-hosted events (while supplies last and you must attend an event to earn a pair of glasses, one per person). Please view our library calendar for the specific events taking place during Moon Week so that you can plan to attend.

Spring Storytime

Spring session of Storytime is going on now! Join us for books, songs, movement activities and lots of fun! Our sessions are Mondays at 11 am & 6 pm and Tuesdays at 11 am. Ages 0 through 6 are invited to attend along with their siblings and parent or caregiver. Younger elementary students that feel they would enjoy Storytime are also invited to attend. Each Storytime will wrap-up with the completion of a simple craft. No registration is required and we ask that you call with questions.

Teen & Adult Spring Reading Challenge

Teens and adults are invited to do our Spring Reading Challenge. Pick up a special bookmark here at our front desk and get started. Read just two books and color in a flower on your bookmark for each book and bring it in to show us to receive an awesome prize. You will have the entire month of March to read and claim your prize. Deadline is March 30th at 3:00 pm.

Book Club

Join the BYOB (Bring Your Own BOOK!) Book Club. We meet on the third Thursday of each month from 6-7 pm, except in December. In this book club, we will meet to discuss recent reads or long-time favorites and what we thought about them. There will be no assigned book. You read whatever you want, your own book or a library book and then come and tell us what you think. It is casual conversations on what you are currently reading, what you have read in the past or what you hope to read in the future.
