Holiday Recipe Book

Beginning December 2, stop by to pick up your free 2024 Holiday Recipe Book. The book contains recipes submitted by library staff, patrons and community members. It also includes all of the "Cook the Book" recipes from 2024 that were featured on our YouTube channel. Making a yearly Holiday Recipe Book has been a long tradition here at the library and we are very proud to be able to offer it again this year. Books are limited to 2 per family and extra copies may be requested to be sent via e-mail.

LEGO Club

Join us for a fun 45 minutes of building with LEGOs on the third Saturday of each month at 1:00 pm. All ages are invited and we will bring the LEGOs and you can just bring your imagination. We encourage everyone to participate in our monthly challenge or just build whatever you like. The creations are then put on display in the library for everyone to enjoy.

Read to a Therapy Dog

Spend a few minutes reading to Cali and her owner, Karma. They will be visiting us the first Saturday of each month from 11:00 am - noon. For this program, there is a requirement for preregistration and each reading "slot" is 10 minutes. Registration for the upcoming month will begin on the 15th of the previous month. For example, to attend the December session, participants may begin registering on November15th (if this falls on a Sunday or holiday, registration begins on the next business day). Call or stop by the library to register.

"Bring Your Own Book" Book Club

Join the BYOB (Bring Your Own BOOK!) Book Club. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm (excluding December). In this book club, we meet for one hour to discuss recent reads or long-time favorites and what we thought about them. There is no assigned book. You read whatever you want, your own book or a library book and then come and tell us what you think. It is casual conversations on what you are currently reading, what you have read in the past or what you hope to read in the future.
