Get Cozy and Read

All ages are invited to join the Winter Reading Challenge. It starts on January 2 and runs through the end of February. Simply pick up a reading log from us and color in a snowman for each 15 minutes that you read. When you have colored all of the snowmen, return the log to us and receive a small prize.

Holiday Hours

We will be closing at 3:00 pm on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. We will be closed on both Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Please remember that you can access Libby for eBooks and audiobooks 24/7 everyday of the year.

Read to a Therapy Dog

Spend a few minutes reading to Cali and her owner, Karma. They will be visiting us the first Saturday of each month from 11:00 am - noon. The recommended age for this program is 5 years & older, as the goal is to increase reading skills & comfort with reading aloud. For this program, there is a requirement for preregistration and each reading "slot" is 10 minutes. Registration for the upcoming month will begin on the 15th of the previous month. If this falls on a Sunday or holiday, registration begins on the next business day. Call or stop by the library to register.

"Cook the Book" on YouTube

Be sure to check out our great YouTube channel that contains many instructional videos, local history and our seasonal "Cook the Book" videos. In each "Cook the Book" we discuss a current book and then take inspiration from the book to make a recipe. It's a lot of fun and all of the recipes are easy to do.
